Luke Doane is originally from Enid, Oklahoma and started his career working as a legal assistant to Stephen Jones, where he gained experience in high profile criminal defense cases, as well as tort law, receiverships, FOIA and Open Records requests, election law, and local politics. His work there inspired him to apply to law school at the University of Oklahoma College of Law. While attending law school, Luke clerked as a licensed legal intern at Oklahoma’s oldest law firm, Mitchell DeClerck in a variety of fields, including criminal defense, adoption, tort law, estate planning and probate, divorce, and real estate & property transactions. Luke also brings to the table a wide array of skills from outside the legal field gained from running and managing political campaigns for himself and others.
While at OU, Luke found a passion for property law issues. He developed this passion into an education focused on Oil & Gas and Title Exam issues, which prepared him well for the problems that can arise in commercial real estate. Now, he’s doing what he loves and putting those resources to good use, representing clients in their interactions with lenders, title companies, buyers, and sellers.
When not in the office, Luke actively attends Denton Bible Church, thoroughly enjoys flying and aviation, enthusiastically pursues gardening and horticulture, aggressively bargains for any deal he can find at a garage sale, and generally loves learning anything new in a wide variety of fields.
Luke is licensed in Oklahoma.
